Former Corona Public Library Board Member for six years and currently Vice President of the YMCA Board, Board Member for the Corona Police Community Partnership, and active member of Circle City Rotary. Actively serving on committees for the Peppermint Ridge "Love Walk," the 100-Mile Club "Kids Walk and Family Festival," the "Kids and Cops" annual Christmas Gifts for the underprivileged, and the annual Corona-Norco Health Screening Day at Corona High School.

Current member of Lambda Alpha – OC, FIDM-OC Museum Council and International Economic Development Council. Karen is a 30-year veteran of relationship management in the financial services and business/economic development arena of which she is associated with Capstone Partners Financial and Insurance Services/MassMutual.

Served as a Middle College High School System Director at Riverside Community College in Riverside and Norco, while remaining an active part in the local community, such as Soroptimists, the Woman's Club, and PTA.
